Pachamama is a contemporary composition that fuses "classical" and "jazz" elements in a uniquely configured ensemble of instruments of the composer's design. Repeating motives and arpeggiations move around the ensemble throughout the piece, creating layers of sound and textures upon which the "jazz" instruments add their improvisations.
