This lovely, richly scored ballad features solo trombone throughout, and is inspired by the linear melodic writing and lush orchestration of Gil Evans. The saxophone section doubles on woodwinds throughout (2 flutes, 2 clarinets and bass clarinet), and there is a tuba part in place of the bass trombone.
