Composers & Arrangers - Taylor Donaldson

Taylor Donaldson lives in Montreal, Quebec where he is a busy member of the music scene, working as a trombonist, composer, arranger, and music copyist. Born in Kingston, Ontario, he is a graduate of the Schulich School of Music at McGill University, where he received his masters degree in 2011. In addition to leading and writing for his own big band and small jazz ensembles, Taylor has has travelled to perform in the United States, Britain, France, Switzerland, China and Japan, and has appeared with symphony orchestras, choirs, chamber ensembles, rock and pop bands.

As an arranger, he has provided charts for l'Orchestre National de Jazz de Montréal, The Toronto Jazz Orchestra, the McGill University Jazz Orchestra, and for numerous other groups, for both live performances and recording sessions.

He is the founder and editor of Whitewater Music Publications.
